The New Jersey International Film Festival Summer 2009 presents:

FOWL PLAY by Adam Durand (Rochester, New York)

Where do your eggs come from? Find out and help to change a cruel and inhumane industry. Filmed clandestinely, Fowl Play is a searing and illuminating documentary about the plight of egg-laying hens. Footage recorded inside factory farms is balanced with personal accounts of activists working to protect the often-forgotten victims of the egg industry. The suffering that all animals face on factory farms won’t end until enough people are motivated to demand change and alter their buying habits. Fowl Play connects the dots between consumers and the practices they support, and leaves viewers with a groundbreaking message of personal change and community outreach. 2008: 24 minutes.
