UPC President Karen Davis will present a session on “Replacing School Hatching Projects with Humane Alternatives,” Grades pre-K-5. Virginia Association of Science Teachers annual conference Nov. 18-20. Learn how to teach children the basics of bird embryology and knowledge of birds without using live birds in the classroom. UPC activists will leaflet for Turkeys and a compassionate Thanksgiving at the Southeast Quadrant of Lafayette Park, across from the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue, in Washington, DC, from Noon to 3pm. UPC will provide Turkeys Brochures, posters, and a banner. All we need is YOU. Please join us!
