The Fourteenth Annual Genesis Awards, for works released in 1999, will be presented at a star-studded ceremony hosted by The Ark Trust, in the International Ballroom of The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday evening, March 18, hosted by David Hyde Pierce ("Frasier") and Wendie Malick ("Just Shoot Me"). The nation's premiere consciousness-raiser on animal issues, this year's awards will be bestowed by a host of celebrity presenters, and taped for television. For 8 years the Genesis Awards ceremony has aired as a 90-minute special on the Discovery Channel and is now shown on Discovery's Animal Planet.
