An Urgent Appeal From the President

Phoenix found peace at United Poultry Concerns.

Dear Friend of United Poultry Concerns,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your kind and generous support for our work. It's entirely because of you that we have been able to accomplish so much in the seven years since we started. Thus, since last January, when we first made our appeal, you have helped us to raise over $30.000.00 for a new home for United Poultry Concerns. Now I must renew our appeal. United Poultry Concerns needs your help now more than ever.

We have reached a crossroads. If United Poultry Concerns is to continue, we must do so at a new location. We need a 5-to-10-acre piece of land for our office and our chicken sanctuary. We must raise enough money for a down-payment and show the bank that we can meet our mortgage payments over the next 20 years.

We must do all this and still have the budget we need for our chicken sanctuary, our investigations, campaigns, publications and all of the many services and activities that our members have come to expect based on our past performance.

At this time I would like to ask you to help us with the most generous contribution you can possibly give. In addition, please consider a bequest to United Poultry Concerns as well as a low-interest loan. We will honor your generous contribution with a permanent name plaque inscribed in the item of property which your substantial gift has made possible. We welcome inquiries.

On behalf of everyone at United Poultry Concerns, thank you for your most gracious gift. All contributions are fully tax-deductible.

Sincerely,
Karen Davis, PhD
President

Absolutely, I want to help. Please accept my tax-deductible gift in the amount of $______________, to help purchase a permanent piece of land for United Poultry Concerns. I want to ensure that chickens like Phoenix will always have a safe haven at United Poultry Concerns now and in the years to come. I want to help United Poultry Concerns create a world through education in which, one day, every Phoenix will be free.
