In loving memory of Karen Davis. I so admired all that Karen Davis did for the birds. I met her once in Central Park giving a talk about the birds, and she was genuinely caring, devoted, and committed. By gosh, she seemed like a really wonderful lady. I miss her for her birds and all of us. – Odette Janavel
This donation is in honor and memory of our beautiful, beloved Karen Davis founder of United Poultry Concerns. Your relentless work of love and compassion for the most abused animals on earth has opened the eyes of so many of us who never gave a chicken a second thought. May your work continue to flourish through those of us who got your message. I for one will never stop speaking about the hideous atrocities committed on innocent critters that most people call food. Oh how we will miss your radiant smile and your beautiful spirit on our sad planet. When I heard of your death, I burst into tears and felt some of my hope for a better world depart. May all the beaked and winged animals of our world lift up their voices to heaven where you now dwell. With so much love and gratitude. – Lily Macy
