What Does Animal Liberation Really Mean?

Please join United Poultry Concerns President Karen Davis, PhD for a look at Animal Liberation and what animal advocates mean by this term with respect to farmed animals and vegan advocacy in particular. Do we parse “liberation” according to the category in which the animals are confined, based on how we use them? Are some animals, including humans, “more equal” than others in the Animal Liberation lexicon and if so, why, and if so, what does this inequality mean for those who are “lesser” versus “loftier” labeled?
