Glimpses of Happy Chickens at United Poultry Concerns

One of my favorite things is watching our chickens jump for joy (bread!). This brief audio-video captures one of those moments. It’s not just any bread. It’s Ezekiel flour-free grains & seeds – their favorite!

Another favorite thing is watching the chickens under the trees inside our 12,000 square-ft. predator-proof sanctuary yard. Chickens love the woodsy places, reminding them of their original tropical forest home. Their genes hold their ancestral memory.

Another pleasure is watching our hens resting quietly together in the yard. This hen, Siena, is a rescued “game” hen who had been used as a “breeder” of roosters to entertain the Cro-Magnons.
