Re: Cassius Aden Mankin Case No. CR03870
Dear Mr. Shepherd:
On behalf of United Poultry Concerns I am writing to urge that Cassius Mankin be convicted of the Felony Cruelty to Livestock Animals with which he is charged. On February 14, 2015, Mankin, accompanied by several adults and juveniles, entered the property of Bob and Carol Falk, stole their pet emu, Miss Molly, punched her eyes out, and choked her to death.
A person who puts a creature’s eyes out deserves to receive the maximum penalty allowed by law for his sadistic crime of wanton animal cruelty.
We understand that his trial is set for February 29, 2016. Please do not let Cassius Mankin get away with his felony crime. He needs psychological
counselling and to be formally punished. We respectfully urge that Mankin be found guilty as charged.
Thank you for your consideration of our request. We hope for good news from your office.
Sincerely,
Karen Davis, PhD
