Marin County Public Access TV to Highlight Dignity, Beauty and Abuse of Chickens

Recent news articles have focused on cruelty on some chicken farms. Three films from United Poultry Concerns are scheduled to be shown over public access TV in April. This National organization, headquartered in Virginia, is celebrating twenty-five years of activism for a “compassionate, respectful” treatment of domestic fowl and fighting against cruelty to chickens and other poultry.

“Dignity, Beauty and Abuse” is an overview of the issue

“Delicacy and Despair” is about the Fois Gras industry and

“Inside Tyson’s Hell” is the story of a slaughterhouse worker who became an activist when he saw what was going on.

Marin Channel 26 will show the films on Sunday, April 5 at 10:30 PM and Saturday, April 11 at Midnight.

Novato Public Access Television Channel 26 has them scheduled for Saturday, April 4 and Monday, April 6, both days at 9:00 PM.

They are shown late in the day because of the subject matter.
