Bill to Ban Pigeon Shoots in Pennsylvania Passes Senate!
Help Us End Pigeon Shoots in PA Once and For All!
DEAR FRIENDS,
We have stunning news! Legislation to ban pigeon shoots in Pennsylvania has passed the PA State Senate by an overwhelming majority of 36-12!
The bill now moves onto the House for one final vote.
That has never happened before - and even Governor Tom Corbett has said he will sign the bill into law if it passes the PA House of
Representatives!
There is a good chance that the vote in the PA House will be this coming Monday, October 20. If you live in PA, or know anyone who does, please
tell them to
contact their State Representatives
and ask them to vote YES on HB 1750 and end cruel live pigeon shoots.
SHARK is investing a few thousand more dollars into our television advertising campaign this weekend in targeted districts where the money can
do the most good.
It is our hope that this infusion of resources will help give the legislature the push it needs to support this vitally important effort.
