We are grateful to Marlene Narrow for highlighting United Poultry Concerns on two recent Vegan Nation shows. Vegan Nation is a half-hour radio show hosted by Marlene Narrow in Worcester, Massachusetts. It features vegan music, news, events, and interviews. It has been on air since 2015 and broadcasts every Tuesday.

In loving memory of Dr. Karen Davis (Feb 4, 1944 – Nov 4, 2023), Vegan Nation featured an interview with Liqin Cao, President of United Poultry Concerns, and Franklin Wade, VP of United Poultry Concerns on February 10, 2026.

On April 29, 2026, Vegan Nation celebrated the upcoming International Respect for Chickens Day May 4th and featured UPC’s truck campaign in Washington, D.C. and Boston, and UPC’s 100 bus shelters campaign in Miami, FL. The show included snippets of previous speeches and talks by the late Dr. Karen Davis, president and founder of United Poultry Concerns.
