The birds will be happy with the money we raised. We gave out "Go Vegan, Life Can Be Beautiful" and "Chickens" brochures to every person who spoke/read English. For our Spanish-speaking friends we gave UPC’s brochure on Live Poultry Markets. There were many shoppers who said they are trying to go veg - that was so positive. I spoke to a young couple about the importance of being vegan and they made a full commitment to go for it. That made my day!
