The Vegan Spring Expo was founded in 2010 by animal rights activist Michael Lanfield and organized by TARVE, "The Voice for Farmed Animals." The first Expo took place May 28, 2011 and attracted hundreds of visitors. It's a family-friendly celebration of compassion, love and peace promoting the vegan lifestyle. With many fun-filled events for the whole family, TARVE aims to expose the atrocities of animal abusing industries in ways that even children can understand. With live entertainment, exhibitors, educational displays, film screenings, lectures, vegan food and raffle and best of all, admission and food are free!

The 2nd Annual Vegan Spring Expo will take place at a much better and bigger location this year. Overlooking the beautiful lake right across from the island airport, it is being held at the Windward Co-op Lakeview Room at 34 Little Norway Crescent, just South of Queens Quay West on Bathurst Street, right next to Little Norway Park in Toronto, Canada. Event goes on from 10am to 10pm. To learn more, please visit www.tarve.ca/veganspringexpo/.

Don't just switch from beef to chicken. Get the slaughterhouse out of your kitchen. Go vegan!

May is International Respect for Chickens Month. Please make every day Respect for Chickens Day.
