I want to let you know that Denver Vegans had an event on May 4 that was themed to align with International Respect for Chickens Day. The Vegan Roadie, who has a web series featuring vegan and vegan-friendly places in various cities (see http://www.veganroadie.com) was in Denver and gave a food demo for our group. Aware that the day of his presentation, May 4, was also the day of your observance, I asked if he would feature a chicken-free or egg-free recipe. He came up with a tofu egg sandwich by Andrea Parros, Red Fern Restaurant in Rochester NY. It was amazing – everybody raved about it! In the meetup announcement about the event, I referenced International Respect for Chickens Day with a link to your website. So our 950+ meetup members, if they read the announcement, were aware of it, and the 25 people who attended the event heard about it again.
